Submission Form Overview

Listed below are the form elements which you, as the user, are asked to fill out when submitting a resource or activity. In order to minimize any ambiguity concerning these elements, a description has been given beside each one.

Form Elements for Activity Submissions

Elements of the user form for submitting activities.

Submitter's Name

the name of the individual submitting the activity

Submitter's E-mail Address

e-mail address of the individual submitting the activity

Name of Activity

the name or title of the activity you are submitting

Activity

the primary explanation of a given activity, telling what it is that should be performed, anything from a physical and competitive event to a social skills exercise; also include any WWW links that would be helpful in articulation of the activity

Variations

different renditions or versions of the same activity, to provide alternatives

Difficulty

how difficult an activity it is for students to participate in --- for example, is it something that would require a significant amount of planning and learning, or can it be done on the first day of class? 1 - lowest difficulty while 5 - highest difficulty

Keyword Associations

particular topics or areas of focus that the activity should be associated with; this is very useful to help other users effectively find your activity on the website

(Optional) File Upload

in case of a need to include non-text media with your activity submission, you are permitted a file upload; restrictions to keep in mind with this file are that it can have a maximum of 2MB file size, and it must be of file type *.jpg, *.gif, *.pdf, *.xls, *.rtf, *.doc or *.zip

Form Elements for Resource Submissions

Elements of the user form for submitting resources.

Submitter's Name

the name of the individual submitting the resource

Submitter's E-mail Address

e-mail address of the individual submitting the resource

Name of Resource

the name or title of the resource you are submitting

Description

the primary explanation of a given resource and its purpose

Teacher, Parent, Student Associations

for whom and in what manner the resource is intended, e.g. for teachers who are interested in planning their classes, or for teachers who have a particular interest in creating a community-like atmosphere for their students. Note that associations may be omitted from any of these 3 groups, so long as at least 1 is chosen; if none are chosen, the resource would not be accessible through normal navigation!

(Optional) File Upload
